Katharina is a Toronto based character designer and illustrator who specializes in creating fun and cute characters in colourful scenes. She loves to work with coloured pencils and tries to convey a feeling of warmth and joy in life’s simple things throughout her illustrations. She strives to achieve a traditional look in her digital illustrations as well. She graduated from Sheridan's Animation program, with honours, and has worked as a designer/concept artist for a variety of productions, including preschool shows, a social media company and a short indie film. Some of the clients she has created concept work for include Disney Jr, Nickelodeon, Spin Master. When she’s not drawing, she loves to spend time with family and friends, visit art galleries, watching documentaries, and visiting locally owned shops.
